The BIG Garden Bird Watch

"What a busy weekend "
On Saturday morning some of the residents took part in The Big Garden Bird Watch with Claire from The Alderney Wildlife Trust.
We had three groups of residents:
- Claire had a group watching from the Connaught dining room window
- Kev, our activity assistant, watched with a resident in the Jubilee sun lounge
- Annie, Activity Coordinator, watched with a resident from the Link windows
We watched from 10.00 am until 11.00 am and between us we saw a variety of birds including Blue Tits, a robin, sparrows, two wrens and we mustn't forget the sea gulls!!!!
It showed us that it's worth putting up bird feeders to encourage birds into the Connaught garden.
